Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) is teaming up with prior authorization (PA) solutions leader, CoverMyMeds to launch a new reporting platform.
Today, MHA announced the launch of the new web-based PA reporting platform MHAuthorizeRx, powered by CoverMyMeds. According to MHA, the addition of this innovative reporting suite provides MHA pharmacy members with an easily accessible, built-in analytics platform to help drive visibility into their PA activities. The newly launched, enhanced platform is the result of the ongoing collaboration between MHA and CoverMyMeds, and the new features will allow pharmacies to track PA trends, prescriber engagement and quantify PA requests that are approved and generated throughout the process. MHA says that pharmacies can better understand the PA process and improve their patient outcomes with this convenient, data-driven information surrounding these types of PA activity.
“The launch of the enhanced MHAuthorizeRx reporting platform not only provides another example of MHA’s ongoing commitment to develop innovative integrated solutions that help our specialty pharmacy and other members drive business efficiencies and enhance patient care, but also illustrates how we deliver on the commitment by collaborating with leading-edge health care technology companies like CoverMyMeds,” said Erik Halstrom, Vice President of MHA Specialty Pharmacy Solutions.
The MHAuthorizeRx is an easy-to-use, secure, web-based tool helping pharmacies collaborate with physicians to submit Pas for any drug to nearly all health plans. The platform simplifies the PA process and creates an automated, paperless experience for the pharmacy. According to MHA, It ensures that prescriptions are filled with greater efficiency and the most up-to-date information from health plans.
